Name: tracey
Comment: what a great idea! I’m ashamed that I had never considered how much wrap we throw away each day. And I’m a big recycler! The bird and butterfly prints are both gorgeous and my daughter would love them. So great to educate them about these pouches at a young age. Thank you for enlightening me !!
***********
In this month’s lunch box ideas you will notice I have new wraps for the kids. Our delightful puppy is now 6 months and as it eating everything like:
- Pencils
- Computer Cords
- Shoes
- Pens
- Books
- My chocolates (there were expensive and I was devastated, even more devastated after I had to clean up the vomit that followed 🙁 – and yes I know chocolates are bad for dogs as was worried about him too.)
- And the kids sandwich wraps!
So we now have new wraps and pockets courtesy of a wonderful sponsor of the blog 4MyEarth and we are working on the puppy’s obedience and puppy proofing the house as much as we can.
Below are some lunch box ideas for June and at the end you have the chance to win a 4MyEarth Value Pack.
Lunch Box Ideas – June Set 1
Strawberry Yogurt Cupcakes – I usually don’t ice them for school lunches, but these ones were left over from our family picnic.
So the icing wouldn’t get the wrap too messy, I just put a small piece of baking paper on top before I wrapped it.
Peas in a pocket! I didn’t order as many of the pockets as I wasn’t sure how easy they would be to keep clean. The kids love the pockets and they are actually really simple to turn inside out and wipe out on a daily basis. Also you can hand or machine wash them with no problems.
And a Pink Lady Apple
Together lunch box set 1 looks like:
- English Muffin Pizza
- Strawberry Yogurt Cupcakes
- Apple
- Peas
- Vita Weats
Lunch Box Ideas – May Set 2
- Homemade Sushi
- Special K Biscuits
- Mandarin
- Cut veg – capsicum
- Mini Wheats
