Winnie the Pooh Party

Winnie the pooh partyThe photos from this Winnie the Pooh Party were taken nearly a year ago. It was for our youngest son’s 3rd birthday party. He chose the theme, a decision based solely on a dress up costume we have had since our first son was around his age. As the photos show it has been well worn!

Along with the Winnie the Pooh theme I went with red and white for brightness and fun.

Winnie the Pooh Party Outtakes

Someone once asked me recently, do all my new recipes work out – short answer NO! A case in point is cake pops. In the days leading up to this Winnie The Pooh party I had my third attempt at making cake pops.

These cake pops were supposed to be extra special and be in the shape of a bear. I was going to cover them in white chocolate and draw faces on them with an edible marker. After the prescribed time in the fridge, they looked ridiculous and fell apart as I tried to stick the lollipop sticks into them.

I didn’t give up easily and tried all sorts of things to salvage them. I shouldn’t have though. I reckon I lost over three hours on them!

Is there anything you have given up on trying to make?
