Sydney workshop event – How to get and stay organised at home

Last year I did a small survey of the lovely readers of this blog, finding out where and what type of events readers would like to see in 2018. I received so many wonderful responses and I have taken into account lots of the recommendations and feedback as I have planned events for this year.

A key theme in the responses was for a low price point event that covered the basics of getting organised at home. So I have created a workshop “How to get and stay organised at home“. The workshop is designed for parents to create plans and processes to effectively manage the day to day activities of family life. We can’t cover everything in two hours of course, but we will run through three key planning foundations to get you on you way.

You can read the full details about the workshop below but it will be practical and fun. I won’t be talking at you for two hours, but will be working with you to help you create plans for your families and answering your questions as we go along.

I have plans for more events in the coming months and will release dates and venues after the Sydney workshop. If you live in the Greater Western Sydney area I would love it if you would share this event amongst your friends and networks – thanks!

Sydney workshop – how to get and stay organised at home

The workload of family life can be never ending. For many parents their days are full of washing, cooking, shopping, cleaning, caring and running around for the family. At the end of the day you can be left wondering how much time did I have being with my family?

My philosophy with getting organised at home has been to streamline the known repetitive tasks of family life, so you can then better manage the unpredictable and the inevitable parts of family life (sick kids, fighting, tantrums etc) and still have time to enjoy your family. You know each day the things you need to do to make family life run smoothly, so if you can create plans and processes for these, you can save yourself significant time and energy.

Dinner doesn’t need to be a surprise for you at 5pm each night. You can have it planned, shopped in advance and just get to cooking a meal that will work with the time you have and the needs of your family.

You don’t have to wake up to a disorganised house each morning making the start to your day stressful from the very beginning.

You don’t have to do everything for your kids! Even preschoolers can get themselves ready for the day.

At the end of the workshop you will leave with:

  •  a set of menu plans for your family
  • a night time routine to suit your family
  • routine outlines for your kids
  • knowledge to help you manage your time
  • the wonderful feeling of chatting with other mums facing and solving the same challenges as you!

The workshop will be fully interactive, so come prepared to work, chat, laugh and share stories for the whole two hours!
