Planning With Kids is all about organising the chaos of family life and is written by me! I am Nicole Avery, a Melbourne (Australia) mum to to five beautiful kids aged 19 to 9. I am slightly addicted to spreadsheets, tea, running and CrossFit.
I love plans, goal setting and productivity as they are tools that I can use so I can spend more time with my family. My goal for 2018 is to Detach from the old and embrace the new to nurture a family spirit of adventure – you can read some more about that here.
I have been blogging since 2008 and still love blogging. On the blog I share tips and tricks to organising the chaos of family life. What I share here is the culmination of personal experience, reading and learning from other families. Not for one minute do I think I know all there is to know about family life and parenting. My kids teach me something new pretty much everyday.
Planning With Kids is for parents who want to establish solid plans, routines and processes that allow them to spend more time on the fun bits of family life.
The philosophy I share on the blog, is that by organising and planning for the known in family life, you can cope with and enjoy more other aspects of family life. My aim is to have the parents spending more time being with the family not doing for the family.
