Blueberry Banana Swirl Froyo Pops

Recipe type: Sweet treats
Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and process until smooth. Pour into the ice cream moulds and freeze. Once solid (about 3.5-4hrs depending on the size of your moulds), remove from mould and enjoy! If you have any problems getting the froyo pops to “pop” out of their moulds, just wrap the mould in a warm cloth for a few seconds and try again.
  2. To get the“ripple” effect in the Banana Blueberry Swirl, don't mix the berries with the other ingredients. Instead, once the mixture has been poured into the moulds, drop the berry halves in, poking them down with a skewer if required.
  3. Should you have any mixture left over once you've filled up all the moulds, these taste fantastic as a straight smoothie. Or you can always freeze any leftovers in ice cube trays and save as a no-prep smoothie for when you're on the go. Simply let the cubes thaw slightly before whizzing them in a blender and you'll have a delicious, icy, instant smoothie ;)
Notes:
*Don't have ice cream moulds? Don't worry, you can always substitute with small cups and some paddle pop sticks or plastic spoons. Just give the mixture time to set a little in the freezer before placing the sticks/spoons in, that way the sticks will stay up
