Macadamia butter

  • 1.5 cups macadamias
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ⅛ tsp pink Himalayan salt
  1. Place macadamias, oil and salt a into food processor and pulse.
  2. Stop every minute or so and scrape down the sides of the bowl, then pulse again.
  3. Repeat this process until the macadamia butter is the consistency you desire.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Macadamia butter is slightly runnier than other butters I have made, but it does thicken slightly once cooled. You can always omit the oil if you prefer a thicker spread.
