Jewellery makes a beautiful gift for Christmas and if it is handmade it is even more special! Sarah Munnings is a self-taught silversmith who travels around Victoria running silversmithing classes that use easily accessible tools. Sarah creates a range of exquisite handmade jewellery using traditional techniques and loves losing herself in custom orders and commissions.
As well as making set pieces, Sarah also makes pieces organically. These necklaces are created in the same style but each is totally unique.
And if it is earrings you are after, Sarah has a beautiful range to choose from. These copper and silver discs are definitely on my wishlist!
All of Sarah’s creations are handmade in Australia using Australian suppliers. Sarah’s classes are super popular, with a full calendar of events already scheduled until May next year. To be able to help more people make their own beautiful jewellery she has developed workshop kits, online classes and next year will be releasing pre recorded classes so you can purchase the materials and tools and then follow along at home in your own time.
