My 9 favourite body and beauty products

My beauty regime is as simple as it gets! I rarely wear make up and when I do it is most likely just some lip gloss and blush, hence why you won’t see much make up in this collection of products below. I have been searching to find products that are low on nasty chemicals and still give me the results I am after.

I have been using these products for a while now and would highly recommend them. If you have a new fave product you would like to share, please leave a link in the comments section below as I would love to check them out!

Schmidt’s Deodorant Stick – I tried out many natural deodorants before I found one that worked well for me. It does take time to adjusting to using a natural deodorant. Most of us are used to using an antiperspirant combined with a deodorant. The antiperspirant stops you from sweating which really isn’t a good thing, so when you go to just using a deodorant you do notice you sweat A LOT more. This does however settle down, so I can highly recommend sticking with it. Fave types are lavender and the lime one.

Dr. Bronner’s Hand & Body Lotion 237ml – Patchouli Lime – I was first given this as a gift by a very thoughtful friend (thanks Sam!) and it smells so amazing. I use it daily after my shower and you only need to use a small amount compared to other lotions. The smell makes me feel fresh and is uplifting.

Circle Of Life Botanicals Natural Perfume – I bought this when I was in Byron Bay last year, so every time I put it on it makes me smile. It is a light and uplifting scent and it is the perfect size to keep in your bag. It is a roll on with a secure lid, so you don’t have to worry about it spilling or leaking.

Twenty8 Essential oils spritzer – I was also given this particularl one as a gift (thanks Min!) but have used essential oil spritzers for many years. This one has the essential oil balance and harmony blend in it and I have it sitting on my bedside table. I will spritz before I go to bed at night and at other times through out the day as I feel I need freshening. You can purchase your own spritzer bottle and make your own blend to suit your needs.

Twenty8 De-Stress & Revive synergy blend – while I do diffuse this blend, I also will just dab a little on pulse points if I feel my stress levels rising or my energy levels decreasing.

Weleda Lip Balms – these balms feel great on the lips and have subtle colours. They are 100% natural as well! My fave colour at the moment is the nude.

Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Cream – I suffer from dry skin on my face and I have tried so many different moisturisers of the low tox variety and struggled to find one that actually kept my skin moisturised for a long time. This cream from Weleda has worked so well for me. You only need to use a very small amount, so while it isn’t a cheap cream it is great value for money.

Davroe Moisture Senses Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner – I have been using this brand of shampoo and conditioner for over six months now and still love it. Davroe is an Australian company that make hair products that are vegan and cruelty free and use natural plant extracts. I most often use their Hydrating range but have also used their Smooth Senses products and found them great as well.

ecostore Lemongrass Soap – gentle to use with a beautiful fresh fragrance. This is the only product I use to wash my face and find it works super well for me.
