Kid friendly menu planning

Once you have explored the kid friendly recipes on the blog, you might like to look at the Planning With Kids Menu Planning App.

The most popular recipes from the blog have been included and more will be added on a weekly basis. The app will notify you when new recipes have been added, so you will be able to deliver plenty of variety in your family’s menu plans.

Menu Planner App

The kid friendly menu planning app allows you to:

  • Create weekly menu plans quickly, choosing as many meals per day as you would like to plan for.
  • Generate the shopping list for all the meals selected.
  • Modify the shopping list to check off items you already have at home.
  • Email the shopping list to yourself and/or others.

Each recipe lists the ingredients required, easy to follow instructions and a photo from the blog.

Hi I’ve just read the latest email from you about your homemade coco rice puffs, but your receipe did not say how much cacao powder to add. I’d be really interested to try this receipe if you could let me know thanks.

My boys loved the Egg & Bacon salad tonight Nic so thanks for that one! Still a way to go with salads for them so seeking inspiration from your blogs. We have a Vege garden and the kids are encouraged to try one salad a night from the garden, great to see the smile on their face when they like something they’ve helped grow even if it is far and few between. My favorite salad is the Cypriot Grain Salad by George Calombaris (Google it), well worth sharing with your followers if you haven’t to date.

I love the app. It’s a great tool for keeping me on track with meal planning.
It would be really great if we could add our own recipes to the planner and also other grocery items that we need. At the moment I flick between 2 apps when I am shopping and it gets a little confusing & time consuming.
Also could we have a few pork recipes please.

      Hi Cass,

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I will not be adding the functionality to add your own recipes as much as I would love to. The development costs are prohibitive.

I have been trying a few pork recipes so will add some over the next couple of months.

      Hi Bec,

In an ideal world I would definitely have an Android app, but the back end would need to be completely overhauled to be able to do this and at the moment that is cost prohibitive.

Thanks so much for your interest.
