Recipe type: Self serve
Serves: 6
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tsp macadamia oil (or preferred oil)
  • 1kg of beef mince
  • 1 lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 carrots
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 pack of tortillas
Method:
  1. Combine all spices with the exception of the garlic.
  2. Finely chop onion and prepare garlic for crushing.
  3. Heat oil on a med-low heat in a large frying pan. Add onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Crush garlic into fry pan and stir for a minute or so.
  5. Add your preferred meat and cook until browned.
  6. Add spices and stir for a couple of minutes until well combined.
  7. Cut up veggies to serve.
  8. Serve in lettuce or tortilla wraps with your fave veggies and salad.
Notes:
I used 1kg of beef mince with these spices, so if you are cooking only 500 grams and don't like your tacos too spicy, I would recommend halving the ingredients.
