PWK annual survey + free slow cooker recipe e-book

It is hard to believe that I will have been blogging for nine years in January! For the last five years an integral part of my blogging routine has been to conduct a yearly survey.

While in the survey I ask questions to understand things like demographics, brand awareness, how you found the blog etc, the key thing I take away from the blog are the answers to the questions you kindly share, as it allows me insights into current issues for parents.  From the list of issues the survey generates, I can then work on creating content that offers tips, strategies and advice in these areas.

In last year’s survey I included the following question:

Would you agree with this statement – “My life is too busy”

62% of readers said yes. I included that question because I had previously been in that place too and I had been receiving a few emails from readers asking for advice on how to slow down. I wanted to see if many of you were feeling this way – which you were! So I wrote a series of posts sharing what I had done to slow down the pace of my life, including tools and resources that helped me.

I have answered a number of specific reader questions from the survey through out the year which you can find here and other readers suggested topics which I have included through out the year on the blog.

The survey really is the best way for me to work out what is working and what isn’t.  I would love it very much if you could take 5 minutes between now and Friday Dec 23 to complete the survey.

If you complete the survey you will receive a link at the end where you can download one, two or all three of the e-books below.

I created the PWK Slow cooker recipe e-book just for this survey to say thanks for completing the survey, but thought not everyone might own a slow cooker, so I have decided to have links to two previous survey free downloads as well in case they are of more interest to you – the choice is yours about which ones you choose to download.

PWK Homework Help Pack

Firstly I am not a teacher, but I am a parent who now has five children in school from year 2 to year 12. I am passionate about education and try to support my kids with their learning, not by doing the work for them, but by guiding them and providing them with tools so they can help themselves.

The pro formas and lists in this pack are all aimed at doing just that. They provide a framework for kids to use so they can complete homework tasks themselves or with only a little assistance. Naturally this takes time though and using them for the first few times will require more parental input until they become familiar with how to use the tools.

PWK Christmas Sweet Treats E-book

Thanks so much for reading PWK this year. With so much information available online, I am always grateful and feel privileged that you take time out to read this blog.
