Updated free monthly menu planning template and meal list

Like all plans and processes, I am constantly refining my menu planning templates. No big changes just small things that make the templates more workable for us. So I thought I would share them with you too!

It is a super simple document. The first page is a matrix which outlines the plan for the month.

I have downloaded a list of all the recipes in the PWK menu planner app, which can act as a list of ideas for you family if they are new to the process and do not know what to choose.

Note it includes all types of meals, so you may need to point out they cannot choose sweet treat recipes for dinner!

Menu Planner App

The kid friendly menu planning app allows you to:

  • Create weekly menu plans quickly, choosing as many meals per day as you would like to plan for.
  • Generate the shopping list for all the meals selected.
  • Modify the shopping list to check off items you already have at home.
  • Email the shopping list to yourself and/or others.

The most popular recipes from the blog have been included and more will be added on a regular basis. Each recipe lists the ingredients required, easy to follow instructions and a photo from the blog.
