What sort of slow cooker do you have and how big is it? What functions does it have and what do you think is important to look for in a slow cooker. I need to replace mine and I am doing some research into what is the best one to choose. Thank you in advance. I love your slow cooker meals, although it will be a while before I do them again! My slow cooker is over 17 years old Julie, so I am not the best person to ask these questions of!

Tomorrow I will post your question on my facebook page and then come back and leave a link so you can see what other think!

Thank you Nicole, I really appreciate this! I loved my slow cooker (the old one, not this one). I bought this one in March. When I follow a recipe, the meat comes out dry and the sauce, watery. Also the veggies don’t cook properly either. My old slow cooker had an auto button and cooked everything perfectly. This one has a keep warm button, which is why I bought it. As I now work outside the home and we all tend to eat dinner at different times, I wanted a way to keep food warm. This slow cooker, Kambrook, is a bit of a fail. I think I will take it back.

I am finding your new recipes increasingly difficult to use because of the unusual ingredients. Is it possible to have your new “healthier” version with alternatives? E.g. can I use plain flour instead of arrowroot, canola oil instead of coconut oil?

When I originally commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are

recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. Is there a way you can remove me from that service?
    Thanks a lot!
