Rock Climbing

hard rock
Hardrock has two rock climbing locations in Melbourne, Nunawading and the CBD. This is a great active family activity which is loads of fun.

Throughout the holidays Hardrock are open:
Weekdays: 12noon – 10pm
Weekends: 11am – 7pm

Ages: The recommended youngest age is 4 years and up at the Nunawading complex and 8 years and up at the CBD complex, as Nunawading offers more kiddie friendly walls.

Children under 11 may climb, but cannot undertake the safety work (belaying) at the base of the climb, and must be accompanied by an adult to help them.  One adult may help up to two or three children comfortably, thus allowing the children a break in between climbs.

Cost and bookings:

  • General entry prices into the gym include entry and unlimited climbing for the day.
  • Bookings are not required for less than 10 people.
  • Parent & Single Child (Under 11) Entry $20.00
  • Additional Child Entry (U11 year old) $14.00
