Planning With Kids Lunch Box Ideas Calendar 2013 Is Here!
by PlanningQueen on October 17, 2012 in Planning
Today I am thrilled to launch The Planning With Kids Lunch Box Ideas Calendar 2013.
It is an idea I have had bubbling in my mind for quite a while. The aim of the calendar is to be an at hand reference to make the task of putting together the kids lunch boxes simple and easy.

As you don’t always have an electronic device in front of you when you are thinking about the school lunches, I have created a physical family calendar you can hang on the wall in your kitchen and easily refer to.
The Planning With Kids Lunch Box Ideas Calendar is not just a place you can write down your commitments, but each month there is information to assist you to get the kids lunches made with the least amount of fuss.
Each month after January, you have two complete lunch box ideas and a list of some of the fruit and vegetables that are in season in Australia and will work well in the lunch box.

You can read more about the calendar and what readers have been saying about the lunch box recipes here.
A very big thank you to the clever Kate from Kate Pickle. Kate took my photos and text and turned them into a beautiful looking, professionally designed calendar and she was an absolute dream to work with.
Where to buy Planning With Kids Lunch Box Ideas Calendar 2013
The Planning With Kids Lunch Box Ideas Calendar 2013 is now available! It can be purchased via Red Bubble for $26 plus postage. The postage rate will vary depending where in the world you order from.
Red Bubble print on demand and will print at the closest location to you, eg if you order from Australia, it will be printed and sent to you from Australia. Delivery takes around 5 – 10 business days, but you can pay for express delivery if you want it in a hurry.
If you are ordering from outside of Australia, please note the seasonal fruit and vegetable lists are for Australia only.
{Please note, I am not a nutritionist/dietitian. These lunch box ideas are what I actually feed our kids and taken into account with the rest of their diet and their level of physical activity.}

What a jolly good idea.
Thanks Jen!
Great idea! Can you tell us how big the calendar is and the size of the squares to write in please?
Hi Jackie,
The quality of the calendar is very high:
Tough wire binding and hanger
Stunningly sharp digital printing
200gsm satin art paper with a tougher cover
Dimensions – A3 (297 x 420mm / 11.7” x 16.5”)
The space to write in for each day is small though approx 4cm x 2cm.
Will add this info onto the calendar page – thanks for asking!
Nic

ugh, this is SO CLEVER! Kate did a wonderful job. I’d like to live inside your head for a little bit… so many good ideas
What a fabulously practical idea Nic I love it! Perfect way to prompt mums with fresh ideas for lunch boxes. With my eldest starting school next year I can see this hanging in my kitchen and getting a lot of use
I think it’s a great idea but balked at paying $15 postage for a $26 item.
Hi Heather, Thanks for the feedback and I would have liked the postage to be lower, but that is set by Red Bubble. Appreciate you taking the time to let me know and I am hoping to make this an annual creation and will look to see if I can find a service with cheaper delivery options.
Thanks,
Nic
> I was going to write the same as Heather. I wasn’t sure if it was because I am all the way over the other side of the world in Perth that the postage was so high. Thanks for the feedback about it Nicole. I hope you can find a new service for the next one. I think the calendar is beautiful and although I only use my icalendar, I was going to buy yours because I think it is a brilliant idea and looks fantastic. Pitty about the postage.
I LOVE thus idea, but won’t be buying one because I have my own things I like to feed my kids for lunch boxes.
It would be so great if you could buy the format then add your own photos for the main pic and your own lunch box ideas in the text.
It doesn’t even need to be limited to lunch boxes. It could be dinner ideas as well.
But well done on a great concept and awesome website!!
Congrats on another great product Nic. I can see this helping a lot of families!
Great work Nicole and Kate! I can see a lot of hardwork went into the calender. Where do you get all these ideas? Congrats to both of you.
