In preparation for my 10 Week Countdown to Christmas series which starts next week, I made a lovely Lemon and Orange Scrub on the weekend which would make a beautiful handmade gift. I based it on the recipe from here.
It was super quick to make, as you can just throw all the ingredients in the blender. The citrus smell is delicious and it makes your skin feel so soft.
Lemon and Orange Scrub
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sea salt
- 1 cup olive oil
- 4 slices of lemon
- 4 slices of orange
Method:
1. Slice the lemons and oranges.
2. Add oil, salt, lemons and oranges to blender and blend for a minute.
3. Pour into jar and seal.
4. These ingredients made 1.5 jars. I have already given the full jar to a friend and I am using the half jar in the shower myself, pouring it on to my exfoliating mitt and then scrubbing gently.
The little jars I used for the scrub, also provided the perfect opportunity to use some stickers I have received from Bright Star Kids. These stickers will also work well on the home baked goods I will make closer to Christmas.
