Lunch Box Ideas September

Only three weeks left until we have a break from making lunch boxes here in Victoria (guess who’s counting??). Below are some lunch box ideas for inspiration to keep you going until the end of the term!

Please note, I am not a nutritionist/dietitian. These lunch box ideas are what I actually feed our kids and taken into account with the rest of their diet and their level of physical activity, I am pretty happy with the balance they have. But like most things with parenting, there is always room for improvement so what I feed the kids for lunch is a work in progress.

I am often sent emails asking about the wraps I use for the kids lunches. These are from 4MyEarth and they have just added a whole new range of designs for their wraps and pockets which you can check out here.

This isn’t a complete list, but just a selection of items that you might like to try including in the kids lunch boxes, either raw or baked into a snack / meal (more comprehensive lists can be found here Seasonal Fruit And Vegetables In Australia):

Thanks for the ideas. I always struggle with lunch for my children. Trying to make something that they all like, that will stay fresh till lunch and is easily transported is hard! Love it!

Thanks for this. Your ideas are what got me started on my own lunch set up for my kids. I’ve only got 3 lunchboxes to pack at the moment but eventually I’ll have 4 and it really does save so much time and stress to know exactly what to pack! You’re a star!

Hi Nicole thanks for this lunchbox inspiration. I am sick of making cheese & Vegemite sandwiches. It was great to see so much variety especially on your Pinterest boards.
