Bright Star Kids Stick On Labels Give Away
by PlanningQueen on January 10, 2012 in Children's ActivitiesThe give away has now closed.
The winners are
Joanne Rudd – All designs are just gorgeous. We would have to choose the birdie, not only was it her first word, but it ties in nicely with the theme of her bedroom. Thanks for a great giveaway!
Kirra Stone – Fantastic product! I would choose the ballet shoes and would buy two lots as both my girls do ballet. My 3 year old starts kinder this year and my 6 year old is going into grade 1. I would order hot pink for Kirra and bright purple for Erin. I was also thinking about the gluten free label as my daughter has coeliac, but thought it wouldn’t be needed on clothes or drink bottles, probably I would only use for lunch box. Thanks for all your email updates, I enjoy reading them as they give me ideas for activites to do with my girls, recipes to make and lots more.
I personally don’t want to think about the new school term starting yet – I love the summer holidays! But there are some things you can do now, to make sure the school year gets of too a smooth start and one of those things is to make sure EVERYTHING is labeled.
Kids misplace stuff, that is just the way it is. Having it clearly labelled won’t stop this happening, but it does mean their items have a much greater chance of being returned!

Bright Star Kids do a fab school kit. Their School Labels Value Kit includes:
- 10 x Large Stick-on Labels for nappy bags, books, lunch boxes and other big things
- 30 x Small Stick-on Labels for water bottles and other smaller items
- 16 x Large Round Labels with 16 clear covers if you want to use them in shoes
- 80 x Tiny Stick-on Labels for crayons, pencils, soothers and other tiny things
- 10 x Book (Subject) Labels for school books & notebooks
- 30 x Regular Iron On Clothing Tags for all their t-shirts, socks, undies and other clothing
Like we did thanks to Bright Star Kids, you can personalise your labels with name of your choice – for us it was easiest just to use a surname, the colour and the icon design (you can actually leave the icon blank if you want).

While the labels are easy to stick on, it is worth reading the instructions for the tips so they will adhere the best to your desired item. If you lose the instructions they can be found on the Bright Star Kids website.
The online ordering process for the school kit is very simple and their a range of payment options including bank direct deposit.
The Bright Star Kids School Kit is valued at $39.95 and I have 3 kits to give away. To enter:
- Visit Bright Star Kids, then come back here and leave a comment telling me what icon you would choose and who’s stuff you would label!
- The giveaway is open to Australian residents only.
- You may only enter once.
- Entries close at 5pm AEDST 20th Jan 2012.
- Winners will be notified by email. If I don’t receive a response within 3 days, another winner will be drawn.
- Good luck!

We have twin girls starting ‘big school’ in a few weeks and a new bub due two weeks later so I have oodles of stuff to label! I think the butterfly would be a real winner with the little ladies.
Definately the monkey, for my little climbing monkey boy!
hello! I found you via a link in an article in Birth.com.au! I bought my labels from Bright Star Kids last year….they really are fantastic…aren’t they?? I have 3 at school at the moment, and let them choose their own icons. I just had another look, whoa there seems like there’s heaps more to choose from!!! I REALLY like the button, and the kombi
I may just be tempted to label my kitchenware to stop it dissappearing….and my pens to stop my kids from ‘borrowing’!!! But I think using our surname so we could all use the labels is the most practical idea….kombi wins!!
Agree that the using the surname is the way to go… 3 x separate orders adds up..
My daughters LOVE ladybugs so that would be the choice for my two girls! Also Awesome idea to use surname only – makes handing the clothing down the line much easier!
stargirl. is for our little star.
I think I would have to use our surname, and an icon that would apply to our 4 boys ranging in age from 11 months to 7 years – they all received a musical instrument from their Great Aunt for Christmas, so the musical icon would probably be accepted by all!!
My son loves bugs and insects so I would have to choose the spider one for him.
A monkey is perfect for my almost 2 year old. He’d out do a monkey which isn’t good for Mummy’s nerves!!!
My 4 kids – 2 boys and 2 girls – would all love the dragonfly – we get them in our yard. We would be labelling all the back-to-school items – especially the new fancy pencils for the littlest boy, and the multicoloured pens of the biggest boy, plus the uber-cool stuff of the oldest girl (for her 1st year at high school), and the pink clothing for the pre-school girl!
After looking for labels for my cheeky cherubs and reading your email i clicked onto the Bright Stars website and the kids came running to design “Their” own labels… The eldest son (8) wanted the soccer ball, whereas the middle son (6) and the littlest man (nearly 2) were sold on the “Digger”. Our baby Girl (5 months) wasnt too concerned but we decided on the colour RED and the “Digger” won on a majority rules… What a great valued pack…
Our littlest one is just about to start daycare and the Panda in purple would be perfect for her.
I would label my son’s items with the car as he is a car fanatic!!!
This year I’ll label my son’s gear ready for his first year of Big Boy School then next year I’ll label son #2′s gear for Big Boy School next year. And we’d have the Bee because both boys never stop always buzzing around, I wish their teachers good luck, the boys have yet sat threw a full kids movie without getting up and going to play.
my little girl is infatuated with dinosaurs its on everything, so it would be them and i would label everything..her if i could she is hopeless with her stuff.
My daughter starts pre prep this year , she absolutely loves unicorns and so we would like a unicorn with a pink background and we would label all her belongings ( bag, lunch box, sheet set , water bottle , shoes , hat etc) with the labels.
I would probably pick the bee icon. Unisex and we are busy bees most of the time!
I would label them with a pink owl and Emily.
I’d pick the dog in the lighter pink for my niece Zara who is starting daycare this year when she turns 2!
I visited the bright stars website and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to choose and order products, even I, who gets confused with any form of technology could manage.
I would order the bright blue labels with the pirate, Aarr for my nephew Max who is going into prep this year, we are very close, I would like to wrap him up and protect him forever but it’s time to let go.
He will have such fun labelling and feel so grown up!
Hang on while I wipe the tears and blow my nose.
The unicorn is gorgeous! I’d get it with the name ‘Caitlin’ for a special little girl <3
the monkey would be perfect for my four little monkeys!!!
The owl design for my daughter Anna, to remind her that it would be wise not to loose any more things at school
I’d pick the cute flowers icon so I could label *my* things – my two boys constantly “borrow” my pens, scissors, sticky tape, etc from my desk for their craft projects and they are never seen again as they get mixed up with their things!
hmmmm that was hard I really couldn’t decide there are so many cute icons.I would have to say the robot though as I would use them for my 7 year old son and we have a robot theme going on this year, lol.
For my daughter going into year 1 Rochelle I just did up her room at christmas pink and butterfly which she loves so I’d have to go the same pink and butterfly icon she’d be over joyed
I would chose elephant icon.
Would label the twins stuff as yet to really label anything and hoping to get a childcare place soon
My girl is starting school this year and she is an absolute unicorn pegasus fan so it would have to be that icon.
My Miss six is a big girl this year. Year 1 and she loves anything dog or puppy so I would choose it in the hope she wont ever want to lose her stuff.
My two little girls are flying the nest so to speak, one to preschool the other to daycare so i would choose the hot pink owl. its so cute!!!
Dinosaur icon for my 3 year old boy Judd. Santa got him a Dinosaur toy and after opening it he was adamant that he did not want anymore toys!
I’d choose the Hibiscus flower for my beach, sand and sun loving daughter, Amy, and the rocket icon for my son who’s nick name is Robbie Rockets.
It has to be the lightning bolt for my Harry Potter fan!
Hi, I have 5 children under the age of 8, so lots of things to label. 3 will be at school this year and 1 at kinder.Doesn’t time fly. Like you I would use our surname and use the star as the icon. My kids are all stars in my eyes.
My son is so excited to start year 1 this year that he is asking how many more days till he goes back.My son would love the cat design as he loves cats.
I’d choose the owl icon for labels for our two boys (Charlie & James) who will both be in childcare this year.
I would choose the ballerina for my daughter who has decided to be “a real ballerina” when she grows up. (Unfortunately there is no icon for her other career choice- “someone who orders food in restaurants”)
I would choose the teddy bear for my youngest boy, Lucas, who starts daycare in a few weeks – he has always been fond of soft toys, more so than my eldest ever was, plus he’s a little cuddly bear himself
The lamb just moving onto a property he just loves all the little lambs that we have
HELLO! That’s the one that I’d use – subtle and polite. And this time I’d just use our surname. That way both kids benefit from this fantastic giveaway.
Hi there, what fantastic labels! I would pick the pink smily face as I think it would put a smile on my daughters face when she looked at it! It would be for my eldest daughter of our four kids who is starting grade 2 this year. Thanks!
Oh this would be an awesome pack! I was just chatting with friends about how you’re supposed to label everything as our eldest are all starting Kinder for the first time, so it’s all new to us!!!
There are lots of cute icons – the Babushka doll is gorgeous, the owl and fish are cute, but I think I would chose the little birdie. Very sweet!!!
I’d label my little boy Angus’ gear – he starts 4yo kinder in February so we need to get all his things labelled clearly. And I’d choose the hippo icon – Hippo is his special soft friend (toy) that he has taken everywhere since he was about 2 and Hippo is an important part of his life.
My son found a wild turtle in our front yard these holidays and has been obsessed with them ever since, so the turtle for Hudson!!
My Billy’s off to daycare, my heart is breaking, at least with a whale, he could have a whale of a time!
We would choose the lightning strike for all my 3 boys at school this year.
I would choose the cupcake for my beautiful daughter.
My little dancer is about to go to prep. She is into pink and ballerinas so that’s what she would probably, I mean definately like.
An owl for our Ainsley for daycare, to watch over her and hoot her happy
I would chose the smiling crab-although I think my 3yo would probably prefer the kitten, to be honest. I’d be labeling her things because she is starting preschool in less than 2 weeks. Yikes.
