My daughter and I have spent time recently playing paper dolls. The set she has in the photo was given to her as Christmas gift by her Aunty Steph. Playing with the paper dolls together reminded me how much I loved doing this as a child. As we were playing and talking, we thought that a paper doll set would make a fab Christmas gift set.
Vintage Paper Dolls
A quick internet search looking for paper dolls to download and I made some wonderful discoveries. These are the cutest things! I am in the process of printing some of the collections and making them into a gift pack for Christmas for some very special friends and family.

I bought Miss 4 some paper dolls perviously, but they are just not the same as the ones that were around back in my day
Think I may have to print some of these down to use as party favours instead of the usually stuff. I’m thinkings a photo paper for the doll to give a greater stability would be best. The Italian vintage doll looks like a real winner to me
Great idea about party favours and the photo paper Amanda!
I never really ‘got’ paper dolls, but then, I wasn’t much into dolls anyway.
One of my sisters never did either. I had heaps!
I loved paper dolls when I was little. I included a few paper doll sets in the pass-the-parcel at Little Eco’s last birthday party (along with sewing cards and other free printables) and they were a huge hit.
I have never considered using these types of things as party favours, but it is such a great idea.
I did! You’ve brought back long misplaced memories. I’ve leapt onto this and hope to get my little girl interested in playing with these too. Thank for sharing.
Thanks, love this post! The dolls are gorgeous especially the Italian ones.
Pls post a pic of your gift pack when you are finished : )
I bought a fashion friend a paper doll book from the Book Depository recently called ‘Chanel Fashion Review Paper Dolls’ (there is a whole series covering a lot of designers) & she loved it. Not really for kids as the focus was fashion but really gorgeous and fun.
My girls absolutely love this idea.
Thank you.
They are absolutely gorgeous…thank you for sharing…brings back memories
I’d forgotten all about playing with paper dolls until I saw this. Looking forward to sharing this with my daughter when she is a old enough! Thanks for sharing Nicole.
Yes! I did!
Thanks for the links. The first link has printable Ginghams dolls, one of my favorites growing up!
Looking at these brings back so many lovely memories for me. My sister and I were mad for paper dolls. We even used to make our own clothes for them. Thanks for the little reminder. This is something I’d love to do with Ella (3yo).
The last album is Spanish (¡see letter “ñ” in “muñecas”!). Thank you for the idea and links.
I love paper dolls! thanks for sharing and posting!
