Little Red Photography is the beautiful project of Melbourne based photographer Rebekah Jewell. Rebekah’s ‘style’ is about emotion and colour and she puts lots of love and care into processing her photos so when people look at your photos they have the WOW! effect.
Being a redhead, and with two of her three boys sharing the same hue, it seemed only natural to factor this into her business name….so Little Red was born. You can also see more of the gorgeous work of Little Red Photography on facebook and her blog.
To celebrate the new website and logo for Little Red, Bek is giving away a photography session to one lucky reader of Planning With Kids. I have done many excellent give aways on the blog, but this prize is an absolute stand out!
The photography session is the excellent value Little Red Digital Package (includes sitting fee) valued at $585. This includes:

Love your pics, they are just so stunning. Hoping to get some more family pics organised when bubs number 3 arrives soon.
Very rarely do I enter any giveaways but when I saw the name “Little Red” I just knew I had to enter as I have two “little reds” of my own – 4 year old red headed twin girls. My favourite photograph is no 4 in the childrens gallery as the kids just look so happy, natural and relaxed and I also love that there’s no shortage of little red heads in this photograph!
I LOVE the pIcture of the 2 littlies hugging each other in the vineyard in the family section.. So adorable….
and my favourite pic was the gorgeous little boy changing the tyre, his gorgeous face, so serious in what he was doing, just adorable.
Under families is an image of three little boys at the beach I think, the sky is amazing.
Fingers toes and eyes crossed I win this one. I love professional photos, they are my major weakness.
The father and son in the orchard in the Family Section is stunning!
There are some absolutely beautiful images in the gallery but for me the standout is the first shot in childrens section. I adore the colours-just stunning !!!!
I loved the one in the family section of the 3 boys against the old pier posts by the beach. It really gives a sense of their different personalities. Just beautiful.
Ah, so hard to choose a favourite! But i really like the photo in the families section of the little girl with a look of concentration on her face studying her mums hand while her mum smiles at her….beautiful!
Wow!!! When i clicked on the link I thought I was about to see just another gallery of boring portraits but I actually said Oh My!!! When i sa the first pic! The colour was amazing, the contrast of textures was beautiful. It was a hard decision but my favourite was number 11 in the Childrens gallery. Devine! I would love to win, Live in Vic only a short drive from Melbourne and would love this opportunity. xo
What a great giveaway! I’ve never had family pics taken of my little family, so just have to enter for the chance.
My fave was the kids at the vineyard in the family section. I love how the scenery fades off into the distance behind the cute kids.
I love the family gallery – in particular the photo of the boy in blue denim against all that green clover, with his beautiful mother to the side. The pop of the colours!
I just love the fifth picture in the family gallery – the father and son in the vineyard. It captures a beautiful moment and you can only imagine what fun they are having together.
The first photo on the second page of “Children” has a little girl with gorgeous eyes which are really accentuated by the weathered, flaky green wood behind her. Stunning!
Really hard to pick a favourite! i love the first image on the second ‘page’ of children – so serious and intense and i love the way the peeling paint brings out the little girl’s eyes.
So hard to choose a favourite. Love the natural outdoor settings used in Little Red Photography and the way the subjects are captured being totally natural and them. Love the photo in the family section with the three boys leaning against the old pier supports.
All of the pics are gorgeous, so hard to choose a favourite!! But I must say I love the picture of the lady with the big beautiful preggie belly!
I like the last pic in this section – http://www.littleredphotography.com.au/html?html=1&p=9 – love the big blue eyes
The photo from the children’s gallery with the little pixie holding onto mum’s leg. Almost ready to step out on his own, not quite the moment is captured beautifully!
I like all the shots in the family section – but especially the one of the two kids in the vineyard. I’m not usually a competition enterer either but would love to have some photos of our family taken and haven’t gotten around to organising it.
I like the 4th one in the children’s section in the hammock – getting 5 kids looking great – I find it hard enough to get my three looking good at once!
My favourite is also the little man changing the tyre. It’s something I can see my little man doing in a couple of years with the same expression on his face
Wow! These portraits are amazing. What a talent! I love the one with the little boy at the beach with the legs of his two parents. Such a happy, fun feeling shot that acknowledges the teamwork involved in raising the little boy, and also subltely captures the personality of the parents, and something of their age etc. To capture all of that in one intriguing image is really amazing!
Makes me want to “beg/borrow/steal” a baby for the pure, blissful, newness images. Such raw peace captured magnificently. If only I had stopped long enough in the early weeks to have you take these of my own priceless bunch. I LOVE all images of children and family – allowing us to treasure memories forever!
My favourite is from the Families section – the mother and daughter lying on the grass and the little girl looking at her mum’s nailpolish. I love the intensity on the little girl’s face. I have so many special moments like that with my two little girls
I love the 3rd photo in ‘Children’ Gallery. It reminds me so much of the way my little girl (she turns 3 this weekend) regards the camera
I’ve been married 4 yrs in July, have two girls under 3 and not one wedding or family photo in sight…I’d love to win a session with Little Red
I love the one with the young family laying in the grass, dad is holding bubs with mum looking on – just captures a typical family moment and thats what good photography is to me.
All the pics are beautiful but my fav is the last one in the children’s section. So sweet!
Love them all but my favourite is the father and son in the vineyard in the family section
I love the 4th photo out of the teen section. She looks so fresh and natural. The colours and the setting compliment her perfectly.
After browsing the galleries I really focused in on the children’s section because I have a toddler (& they can be tricky to photograph). I was really drawn to 2 photos in that section; the very first one (child standing next to mum’s leg) & the last one (child with red top).
The first one had amazing colors (something which is really evident in all the photos) & I loved the fact that such a simple idea is so effective. Having mum’s leg as a measure of the child’s height at that age is just precious!
The colors in the other photo were again the drawcard – the vivid red & green really brought out the blue of the child’s eyes – stunning!
What lovely pics! I like the fourth one in the children’s gallery with all the kids in the hammock : )
I would luv a little photo session fir my gorgeous family ; )
They are all so sweet I am sure I would have a very hard time choosing which ones to enlarge of my little munchkins! But I have to go with the second shot in the newborn section, so beautiful and makes me a little sad that I wont have any more babies like that!
I love the photo of the boy in a denim jacket lying amongst the grass and clover. The colours a so vibrant, and the subjects appear so natural, not posed.
Fantastic photos! My favourite is the fourth family photo of the mother and son against the old door back drop. The colours are beautiful and a lovely, relaxed pose has been captured.
Congrats on an awesome logo! It’s brilliant.
The photos are all unbelievable, but favourites? Either the fourth last one in the Family gallery (with dad and child), very sweet. Or the last one in the Children’s gallery. Stunning colours and so simple but still impacting.
Lovely work. I hope we randomly win this!
I love the second one in the newborn section. My baby is about to turn one, those precious moments go so fast!
I love the photo of the kids on the beach with the “stumps” in the Families section. I can’t say why it just kept drawing me back to it. Stunning!
I LOVE the last pic in the children’s section – so beautiful with every detail of the picture popping off the page. Just gorgeous!
I love in the children’s section the little girl with the blue eyes and white hood. She looks like an angel. My daughter has black hair and is dark skinned and is just the opposite so I find the contrast wonderful. What a wonderful gallery!
every photo made me smile thats for sure, but i loved the one of the little boy changing the tyre. His little tongue poking out, and his expression is priceless…
I ADORE the first one in childrens! It’s so nice to see some ‘diferent’ styles of photography, and those non planned moments that are caught on camera are exactly the ones you want hung all around your home to remember for always!!!!!!
I have two ‘tweens’. A great age but they cant see the va;ue of why memories are so important to capture in photos. The older girl cant get why she needs to put on clothes other than a tracksuit!.
Personally i LOVE the third teen photo.
Natural, fun and captures the memory. Not artificial and posed but a real life picture. Would LOVE to be able to get such a shot of my tricky daughter who constantly runs from the camera or at best puts on her look of contempt for the shot. A stage I know ….but life is too short and they grow much to quickly to miss any singel opportunity
Loved all of them. The colours are vibrant and the pictures look natural. Great style!
Young child near the wheel on a car, he looks like he’s trying so hard “now how do I get this wheel off”?
it was really difficult to pick a favourite amoung all those amazing pictures. I do however love the photo of the bride with her bridesmaides, they all look radiant!
I really like how you have captured such greenery in the background which compliments the little girls dress and eyes! The top picture is the one I like! It was hard to choose between this one and the beustiful sleeping baby. But great work!
I love the second photo in the Newborn gallery of the beautiful baby fast asleep. My third child is now six weeks old and I would love a similar photo of her asleep. It is such a gorgeous photo. Capturing such a delicious moment of newborn life.
