Christie - I am looking forward to your next mail swap. The tracing idea is great for beginners.
Cath - I go in spurts with a family diary to record moments of the kids. It might be more consistent if I get them to help too!
Catherine - What a great way to remember your holiday. I am sure they would love reading this at bedtime as well.

Alison – The sign for the door is a great idea. Miss 7 was able to record her own thoughts, while I did the writing for Miss 4 and she dictated (then illustrated). It not only gave them a great winding down activity in the evenings but we now have a beautiful record of the holiday.

We did the diary ideea on a recent overseas trip. The younger kids could provide ideas.
