Please help me with an advice. This winter my kids and I were ill almost all the time. There would be a pause of day or two before a next sick person. How do you handle the things when somebody in the family is not well? Thank you!

I envy your routine ...
I have modified mine of late but I still have a lot to work on *blush*.
My husband has been working later so I feed my toddlers earlier too and I find they eat better.

wow.

I'm so thankful I have a hubby who doesn't work those kinds of hours so can help more with the day to day stuff.

How do you fit in your stuff into your your day?

I don't :D

I'm usually collapsed in bed about 10 minutes after the girls are most days. Hopefully once the doctors figure out what is going on with my health and fix that up I'll get more energy to get through the days.

I do need to be more organised but I find the more I get a routine happening the more I want to break out of it. Drives me crazy to do the same thing each day, I need to mix things up to keep it interesting. Bit like my cooking, I can't help but tamper with the recipes

Oh I loved this little sneak peak into your day!
I am currently struggling with whether or not to set myself up with a more planned routine... up until this year we've just had a loose rhythm to our days which has worked so well, but now with kinder and ballet and other external stuff I am feeling the need for a little more structure.. mostly for myself! LOL

You've certainly given me some things to think about... and oh how I am jealous about you walking to school and kinder - but then we do live in the country and have ten acres of space so I guess I can't have everything LOL

Wow!!!!
You are amazing. Sticking to your routine while you are pregnant. When I am pregnant I usually can not keep my eyes open through the day. Looks like a solid daily routine which is also flexable to fit around the many different things that happen to mess up a daily routine. :)
Thanks PQ

Who says stay at home mums have it easy!! That looks like a great daily schedule. I like that you have scheduled time for yourself, which is something I need to work on. I try to run my days to a schedule, however I haven't been too good at it of late. I find the key for me is to get up early. That 6-6:30 rise makes such a huge difference to my day. Now that the weather's not quite so icy in the mornings, there's no excuse ;-)

Gosh ... you have a great routine down pat! I also try to fit my work around the kid's activities. Our days are pretty much fixed around their activities - kinder, playgroup, karate, swimming and time at home.

I have a schedule that I'm trying to keep to and some days its hit or miss depending on what things need to be done. You've inspired me to try and stick to it!

Sounds like a pretty smooth routine, PQ! I love that you have afternoon tea time to connect with your kids and chat time to connect with Mr I during your day. How kewl that this is part of your routine.

We do home learning and it works really well for us - especially not having to be somewhere on time in the morning! It's lovely to be able to run on children's time instead of trying to fit children into schedule time.
