This term I have had some challenging times with parents who've wanted to lessen consequences for their childrens misbehaviour at school. Whilst as a parent I totally understand that watching your child learn can be painful, it only gets worse from my experience, when learning is softened or interupted by others. I can think of so many forms of this that I see on a daily basis.
