I have been wanting one of the KitchenAid Mixers for ages. I know there are a few bloggers out there who want one too. Kin was very clever and saved up and bought herself a red one. It looked beautiful sitting on the bench in her kitchen.

I went in a competition to win one at the end of last month, but unfortunately I didn’t win. So now I am after some help. At this moment in time, I cannot justify spending that much money on a mixer, but my old hand held beater has broken down and I need to buy a mixer of some description.

Can anyone suggest something like the KitchenAid stand mixer that is about a third of the price?

oooh, you can NOT go wrong with a kitchenaid. I love it and it is used almost daily.

Apparently TVSN has a payment plan you can do – 6 monthly payments of around $150. Shhh, you didn’t hear it from me ;)

Otherwise I can recommend my Sunbeam Compact Mixmaster. I think it was less than $200 and it’s done my intermittent baking for a few years now.

HI. Have a look on Peters of Kensington site.
They always have them at a reduced price.

I wish you could buy them at U.S. prices. Have you tried EBAY? They are so worth the money. I have a Bosch mixer, but I think Kitchen Aid is better.

oooo I love my Kitchen Aid and it is red too.. the best kind. We got ours on an interest free deal and paid it off over a few months. It was worth it – it’s such good quality.

I think Kenwood do a good stand mixer too but I’m not sure of the price sorry.
