A number of posts on Aussie Bloggers did scare me a little with the issues reported with upgrading to version 2.5.anything. Your post here has given me the reassurance to forge ahead with my blog and WordPress as it demonstrates that the hurdles can be overcome with the help of the great WordPress community. It was a nightmare.
